NOT TODAY SATAN!!
During this long and difficult process of fundraising for Nicaragua and God preparing me to be the person He wants me to be; the song “Not Today” by Hillsong United has been a constant reminder for me to turn away from Satan’s schemes and temptations and to trust the All-Powerful God. This song has encouraged me, uplifted me, and has reminded me of how much power God has and the power He gives us whenever we call upon Him in times of trouble.
“Cause I got a song that will never die, I know Your love is the reason why. I’ll sing the night into the morning, I’ll sing the fear into Your praise, I’ll sing my soul into Your presence, Whenever I say Your Name, Let the devil know not today”
The line, “I’ll sing fear into Your praise” shows me that when we praise God through music or any other type of worship; we can give all the stress, fear, anxiety, worry, and all other distractions to God and He will take all of those things and throw them away.

Whatever you are going through, I encourage you to listen to this song because every line in this song shows how great, loving and how powerful God is. Once you tell the devil no, not today, he has no power over you (Mark 1:25). Whenever I hear this song I can’t help but smile because it reminds me that whatever obstacles come my way, whatever doubt or stress I have, no matter what is happening to me or around me, God is in control over every circumstance and He gives me the power, so I can tell Satan NO! NOT TODAY!
