Plot Twist: New Season! Different Location!
Hello everyone! As you all know, we strive to be transparent with all of our partners; however, over the last few months our family has been struggling with how to effectively communicate all that is taking place in our lives and our return overseas. The time has not been spent being idle. Many of you know that COVID was the driving force in us leaving Nicaragua in June of 2020.
During this time, we have been in constant prayer regarding next steps, opportunities to serve, and our return overseas. The Lord has been faithful throughout this entire journey, even when we have struggled seeing His hand. We have been reminded, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
Since our family has returned back to the States, we have felt the Lord nudging us in a different direction. Throughout this process, we have sought the wisdom of our pastors, spiritual mentors, our debrief counselor for emotional and spiritual growth, guidance, and understanding. God has used each one of these people in a mighty way to walk alongside our family.
After seeking the guidance of the Lord and the wisdom of leaders, our family has taken steps to follow where God is leading. We have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus to an unreached people group in South Asia.
Due to the nature and country in which we are going, we cannot discuss specific details such as location, job description, or provide additional information over a blog.
With all that said, we have so much to share and we can’t wait to communicate our hearts with you. At this time, we are looking into secure email servers in which we can effectively, securely, and safely send information. Within the next two weeks, we will be in further contact regarding more specific details as it relates to the job, our family, our next steps and our departure (which we anticipate to be in April).
