This is a Season of Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is a time of gratitude and thankfulness. During this time, we would like to express our heart of appreciation to each and everyone of you who are walking alongside us in this journey. Thank you for your words of encouragement, love, prayers, and financial support. Your willingness to partner with our family so that we may live, love, and share the Gospel with the people of Granada, Nicaragua is changing our lives. This week, we were able to write and share devotions, in Spanish, with the teachers in the school. We are beginning to learn how to communicate the beautiful Gospel message – how glorious! Our lives are changing in this journey!

Luke: I am thankful we get to be here. Thank you for letting us serve, so that we can teach, preach, and play sports!

Allie: I am thankful for our teachers that work hard to help us learn. Thank you for your willingness to step out, believe in, and support our family!

Hunter: I am thankful God has carried me through this time of transition. I am thankful He is faithful, He is good, He is loving, and His plans are always better than mine!

Emma: I am thankful for this season of learning, new adventures, and growing closer to God!

Cameron: I am thankful that God provides opportunities for me to share my testimony and my family’s testimony to the locals, in Spanish of course.

Shannon: I am thankful God’s perspective is eternal! I am thankful God sees me through the difficulty and uses me despite my lack of so many things! I am thankful for the people in my life, who by living out their faith, is a constant example to me!

Brian: I am thankful that my family is willing to give up comfort and willing to be laughed at while we are learning Spanish, so that we can be the Light in Nicaragua!

As we approach this Holiday Season, we are so thankful for each and every person that has helped us get to where we are today. Being here in Guatemala over the last 8 weeks, God has continued to prepare us and use us. We have 4 weeks left and soon we will be leaving Guatemala, arriving in Nicaragua, ready to be His hands and feet to the people of Granada. Thank you for walking alongside our family and allowing us to be apart of your lives! We are grateful and thankful!
