AND WE ARE OFF!!
Thank you so much for your patience with our family as we have been transitioning into a new chapter in our lives. Today, all 7 of us will board a flight to the Middle East for culture training. During this training, we will take part in language learning and cultural adaptation. After four weeks, Shannon and the kids will return to the States, while Brian will leave for South Asia to participate in meetings and assist in leading a baseball clinic. Currently and thankfully, we are still working alongside AIM, but our hope is to transition out July 1. We ask for your patience as we transition from AIM to our new organization. Once we establish all the necessary paperwork, we will mail out information on how to stop your financial support with AIM and, if you are being led to continue to partner with our family, how to begin supporting our family with our new organization.
As we begin our new adventure, we ask for prayer! The Eastern Hemisphere comes with its own set of challenges and struggles. We will be experiencing a new level of culture shock, a new level of language struggles, and a new level of difficulties. Your prayers will empower us, strengthen us, and give us the ability to push forward when things get hard. Your prayers have been felt, throughout this entire process, and we are so grateful. We look forward to soon being able to share the work our Father is doing through us and in us as we transition into these new steps of life.
