Prayer CAN Move Mountains!

Prayer can move mountains! It is because of your prayers, love, and support, our family has met Goal 1 of $31,500. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Goal 1 consisted of our cross-cultural training in Asheville, NC and language training in Guatemala.  Goal 2, which is $13,530, consists of our moving expenses, airfare to language school in Guatemala then onto Nicaragua, and a cargo container full of sports equipment, a tractor, and farming attachments! We are halfway to Goal 3, which consists of our monthly living and ministry expenses! Thank you for giving and investing in the Gospel!

Prayer can move mountains, it can soften a heart of stone, and miracles can happen! Often times we pray for what we believe to be possible rather than asking God for the impossible. Matthew 17:20, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there and it will move.” Nothing will be impossible for you.” Our family desires to have that kind of faith, petitioning God, to move mountains in the lives of His children.  

Since we have started this process of following God’s call to Nicaragua, we have asked many people for prayer support. Though the prayers are needed, partnership is not one sided. So this New Year, we would like to ask each one of you to send us something to pray over throughout the year. God calls us to be in fellowship with one another, praying for specific needs, and carrying each others burdens. Our family would like to walk alongside you in your journey as we pursue Christ together!

Ephesians 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
